He was playing at a local club. We drove for 2 hours to go to the show and when it was over my windshield was all iced up. He gave me an empty cassette tape case to use as an ice scraper. He was friendly and chatty.

I met the singer, Kevin when they were playing a local club. He was being a jerk to the sound guy so of course they sounded like crap. You band people… don’t trod upon the sound guy :)

My friends and I spent a weekend with them when they were playing at a local club. The line up was different back then but they were a friendly and fun lot.

I met them and Ice T when they played at a local club. My friend and I hung out with them for the weekend. Propain and Biohazard were also on the tour but I didn’t talk to them much. Ice T was friendly and DRI were all cool. Kurt turned me on to Patsy Cline :)
A story about Shirley Hemphill
I was working in a sandwich shop when I was a kid and she was banging on the door just after we closed. She was irate and I told her we were closed. Then she told me who she was but I wasn’t very impressed since she had such a bad attitude. I told her to go to the all night Hardee’s. Turns out she was diabetic so I guess that would explain her irritation. I thought she was just trying to be a diva.
